GP practice assistant

At General Practice Panacea you can turn to the GP practice assistant for general assistancy, for taking blood samples for tests and for specific assistancy.

  • General assistancy
    The GP practice assistant is the first person you speak to when you call the practice or when you report at the reception.
    You can turn to her to make appointments and she can give you advice on common complaints. She also knows answers to many practical questions, including recipes and referrals.
     
  • Blood samples for tests
    For taking blood samples for tests, you can come every working day from 08.00 until 12.15 hours. For this you do not have to make an appointment.
     
  • Specific assistancy
    The GP practice assistant is trained to preform various medical handlings, such as:
    • taking care of wounds
    • giving injections
    • the removal of stitches
    • the spouting of ears
    • doing of urine tests
    • treating warts 
    • making smears in the context of the population screening
    • guidance of patients with hypertension (high blood pressure)
    • guidance of patients with diabetes mellitus type II (diabetes)
    Specific assistancy handlings are done every working day. For this you have to make an appointment.
